Role Summary

The Business Support Officer works closely with the Disability Accommodation  Manager to ensure that all NDIS service requirements are met for the division. The role is a dynamic role with lots of variety, including general admin tasks, following up client service and accommodation agreements, NDIS quoting and invoicing, approving staff timesheets and project management in collaboration, and with support from the Accommodation Manager.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • General office administration duties and data entry/management
  • Request funding allocation request form and service agreements from NDIS administrator
  • Monitor the delivery of service plans
  • Communicate with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct relevant internal audits and reporting to the Accommodation Manager
  • Assist the Accommodation manager to convert accommodation leads to business
  • Project management
  • Provide additional support to the Accommodation Manager when required

 

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located in our central office in West Perth.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

Our ideal candidate will have previous administration experience with a sound knowledge of Word and Excel. They will have excellent analytic, problem solving & conceptual skills and use these to effectively assist with the Accommodation team. Our ideal candidate will have a person-centered, individualised approach to their work and demonstrated proficiencies with relationship building and advocating. Most importantly, our ideal candidate will have tremendous passion for their work, and for playing a strong role in the ongoing growth and success of the organisation.

 

Key Requirements Include:

 

  • Previous experience working within an administration environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience working within the NDIS or the Disability Sector is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Qualifications in fields relevant to the NDIS are highly desirable but not essential. 
  • Possess or willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance
