Role Summary

As a Housing & Accommodation Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for clients with disabilities or psychosocial needs. By ensuring tailored support services are in place, you’ll help meet the unique needs of individuals residing in our accommodations across the metropolitan area. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing the operations of the houses in your area, including coordinating staff schedules and supervising Support Workers, as well as contributing to project work related to your role.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee the delivery of services by working directly from accommodations to ensure quality support for clients
  • Manage the rostering and supervision of your Support Worker staff 
  • Complete client assessments, care planning, individualised support plans, positive behaviour support plans and other relevant reviews
  • Ensure services are tailored to client' funding and preferences, maintaining a cost-effective and person-centered approach 

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is based out of our central office in Belmont. Travel to Peel suburbs is required as part of this position! 

Skills, Attributes and Experience

Our ideal candidates will bring prior experience in case management or support coordination within the Disability sector, with a solid understanding of the NDIS framework and business terms. You will have a natural ability to build strong, lasting relationships with both clients and the staff that you oversee. Excellent communication skills and confidence are a must, as you'll be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll also value constructive feedback and be dedicated to collaborating within the broader coordination team to enhance your practices. 

As well as the above skills, the Key Requirements include:

  • Possess or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a WA Working with Children Check 
  • Possess a valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
