Role Summary

The Scheduler plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of services to our clients. This position is responsible for coordinating staff resources to maximise workforce utilisation, while maintaining high standards of service. You will oversee the creation of consistent, ongoing staff rosters and confidently manage day-to-day changes, including unplanned absences and cancellations. Working closely with both staff and clients, you will adopt a proactive, customer-focused approach, keeping everyone informed and ensuring continuity of care at all times!

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Regularly reviewing and updating rosters to ensure key service indicators are consistently met
  • Reducing travel time to maximise the amount of direct time staff spend with clients
  • Responding to daily changes by efficiently managing rescheduling and covering unplanned absences
  • Carefully matching staff to clients to ensure the best possible fit in terms of needs, skills, and compatibility

We are currently seeking 2 x permanent full-time Schedulers to join our team, based in our modern West Perth office. These roles offer structured hours working from 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

We are looking for someone who brings strong attention to detail and genuinely enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills, along with strong communication abilities. You will enjoy building positive working relationships with key stakeholders and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, reflected in a friendly and professional phone manner.

 

Key Criteria:

 

  • Previous experience in scheduling or rostering within a complex service delivery environment (ideally healthcare) is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of the NDIS framework is highly desirable 
  • High level of competency using computer systems and software
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
