Title: Physiotherapist
Role Summary
Our Physiotherapists work with clients within the NDIS funding framework, assisting them to achieve their goals and develop their independence and participation within the community. You will provide assessments and interventions for clients, in keeping with best-practice standards. You will take responsibility for the planning, implementing and evaluating of individual programs. You will work closely with the broader therapy services team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Planning and delivering Physiotherapy programs which build up the mobility and capacity of your client base
- Ensuring all support is provided within the NDIS framework, budgeted funding and in line with the quality service standards for the Disability sector
- Maintaining progress notes and programs that are timely, thorough and of a high quality
This role is being hired on a permanent part-time basis and works across central and North Metro suburbs.
Skills, Attributes and Experience
The ideal candidate will pride themselves on their ability to build and deliver person-centered therapy programs that value the choice and goals of the client. They will have the people skills to build and maintain meaningful, lasting relationships with their clients. They will also demonstrate a commitment to being a productive and positive member of the broader allied health team.
As well as the above skills, the Key Requirements include:
- Registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- Possess or willing to obtain both an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check
- A valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- Previous experience working within the Disability sector is desirable, but not essential
