About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist at St Jude’s, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of children (and adults, if preferred) funded by the NDIS. You’ll support children in achieving their goals through personalised, one-on-one therapy delivered at home, in schools, or in our clinics. From developing practical resources to empower families to implement recommended strategies, to working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, every day brings new opportunities to create meaningful change. You’ll manage your own caseload and work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure every child receives consistent, goal-focused support that helps them thrive in their daily life and achieve their goals and aspirations.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Use your clinical knowledge to understand how disabilities impact children's daily roles, such as play, self-care, and learning
  • Design and deliver tailored therapy programs that support development and assist children with achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with families and support networks to implement consistent, effective strategies, facilitating goal achievement.
  • Keep and develop thorough and timely records, including progress notes, reports, and funding documentation.

Who We're Looking For

We’re after someone who brings energy, empathy, and initiative to their work. You’re committed to delivering person-centred care, and you know how to build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are innovative in finding creative solutions to support meaningful goals.

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
  • A WA Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
