Title: Housing & Accommodation Coordinator
Role Summary
As a Housing & Accommodation Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the lives of clients with disability or psychosocial needs by ensuring tailored support services are delivered across our metropolitan accommodations. You’ll manage day-to-day house operations, lead and roster Support Workers, and contribute to meaningful projects that make a real difference for the people we support.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work from accommodation sites to directly supervise and observe the delivery of services to clients
- Roster and supervise Support Worker staff across the region
- Complete client assessments, care plans, individualised support plans, positive behaviour support plans, and other relevant reviews
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with client funding and preferences, maintaining cost-effective, person-centred care
This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis. Travel to accommodation sites is required as part of this position.
Skills, Attributes and Experience
Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management or support coordination within the Disability sector and be familiar with the NDIS framework and its terms of business. You will be skilled at building meaningful, lasting relationships with both clients and the staff you supervise, with excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging a diverse range of stakeholders. You value feedback, collaborate effectively within a broader coordination team, and are committed to continuously improving your practices.
Key Requirements:
- Proven ability to be a strong leader, managing all aspects of team performance, including rostering, performance management, etc.
- Possess, or be willing to obtai a NDIS Worker Screening Check and a WA Working with Children Check
- Hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
