Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overseeing key finance functions across teams in Perth. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring systems and processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organisational goals.

 

Key areas of oversight include:

 

  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Invoicing Claims
  • Financial reporting and compliance, including strategic financial planning
  • Leading a large diverse team

Responsibilities and Duties

As Finance Manager, you will lead the financial operations and ensure compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment across the organisation.

 

Your core responsibilities include:

 

  • Financial Compliance: Oversee audits, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Finance: Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial submissions to government bodies (e.g., Aged Care, NDIS).
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor finance teams across multiple locations, fostering high performance and accountability.
  • Systems and Controls: Maintain robust financial systems, enforce internal controls, and drive continuous improvement.
  • General Duties: Ensure adherence to organisational policies, funding requirements, and workplace safety standards.

 

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our central office in Belmont.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

Essential Criteria:

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Finance Manager in a high-growth organisation.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multi-location teams.
  • Strong organisational and decision-making skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and inquisitive with strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
