Title: Coordinator - Housing & Accommodation

Role Summary
The role of the Accommodation Coordinator is to maximise the quality and enjoyment of the lives of children with trauma, disability or psychosocial needs by ensuring that appropriate support services are delivered to meet the needs of individual child who reside at our accommodations throughout the metropolitan area. Your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the houses in your area, including the rostering and supervision of Support Worker staff and supporting the team in creating an individualised trauma informed supportive environment in which each child can thrive
Responsibilities and Duties
- Working from accommodations in order to best supervise and witness the delivery of our services to our children
- Rostering and supervision of Support Worker staff working in the region
- Completing client's assessment, care planning, individualised support plans, positive behaviour support plans and other relevant assessments and reviews
- Ensuring that all services delivered are based on the funding and preferences of the client so that they remain cost-effective and person-centered
This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our central office in Belmont!
Skills, Attributes and Experience
Our ideal candidates will have previous experience in case management or support coordination within the Disability or youth support sector and be familiar with working within the Department of Communities and NDIS framework and terms of business. You will have the ability to build meaningful, lasting relationships with both your clients and the staff you supervise. You will have superb communication skills and be confident conversing with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will value feedback and prioritise working within the broader coordination team in order to better your working practices.
As well as the above skills, the Key Requirements include:
- Possess or willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Possess or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
- A valid WA licence and a reliable vehicle
