Role Summary

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead procurement strategy, vendor management, and stock utilisation across the organisation. This role ensures the cost-effective, compliant, and efficient sourcing of goods and services to support operations. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, ensuring contract compliance, and driving procurement strategy to maximise value and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Contract negotiation and negotiating bulk supplier discounts
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and policy requirements
  • Monitor budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimise inventory use
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet procurement needs
  • Maintain procurement records, reports, and contract registers

 

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our central office in Belmont!

Skills, Attributes and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field
  • Strong experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficient in procurement systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

 

Essential Requirements

 

  • Valid driver's licence with access to a reliable vehicle 
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Clearance and WA Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Must be happy with occasional supplier travel
