Role Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Client Intake Officer to join our dynamic team. This key position will act as the first point of contact for new and prospective clients, helping them navigate and access the right St Jude’s services across our aged care and disability services division. The role works closely with our operations, business development, and marketing teams to ensure that services are promoted and referrals are managed in line with organisational capacity. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the intake process is welcoming, efficient, and client-focused.
 
 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Managing enquiries from new and prospective clients in a first-contact capacity
  • Supporting timely service commencement for new clients
  • Understanding client needs and matching them with appropriate services
  • Tracking and reporting on referrals, pipelines, and conversion outcomes
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure follow-up and client satisfaction

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our central office in Belmont. 

Skills, Attributes and Experience

We are after someone with strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. You will have a deep understanding of the aged care and/or NDIS Services, and the ability to deliver a smooth, person-centred intake experience.
 
Key requirements:
  • Experience in the aged care or NDIS sector
  • Background in intake, customer service, sales or marketing (desirable)
  • Qualifications in health, community services, social work, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Current driver’s licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
