Who We're Looking For
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver high‑quality clinical services, including comprehensive assessments, care planning and ongoing review of residents’ clinical needs
- Provide safe, effective nursing care in line with evidence‑based practice, organisational policies and scope of practice
- Ensure all clinical care and service delivery maintains a strong customer‑service and person‑centred focus
- Support residents to maintain independence, dignity, comfort and wellbeing throughout their care journey
- Accurately complete and maintain clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Identify, manage, and escalate clinical risks and changes in resident condition in a timely manner
- Provide leadership on shift, including supervision, guidance, and coaching
- Promote consistent clinical standards and support a positive, collaborative team environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, audits and quality activities within the facility
Core Competencies & Experience
- Strong clinical skills across geriatric care, chronic disease management, dementia, palliative care, wound care, and medication safety
- Sound knowledge of aged care regulatory requirements, including Aged Care Quality Standards, AN‑ACC, mandatory reporting, and clinical documentation
- Effective shift leadership with the ability to delegate, supervise, and support care teams
- Clear, professional communication with residents, families, and stakeholders
- Ability to manage challenging situations with calm, conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
