Title: Clinical Care Manager

Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join our Residential Aged Care and Transitional Care Services at Carinya of Bicton. In collaboration with the Residential Aged Care Manager and Clinical Care and Support team, you will play a pivotal role in managing clinical and care service delivery for our 61 residential care clients and 36 Transitional Care clients.
We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record of collaborating effectively and leveraging the strengths of an established Clinical Care Team. In this role, you will be key to ensuring high-quality care outcomes and delivering leadership within the service. This position is ideal for someone with expertise in dementia care, palliative care, and end-of-life care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the Residential Aged Care Manager and the Quality & Compliance Officer to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the facility
- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team in all clinical and care/support activities
- Monitor, review, and report on complex clinical conditions to ensure personalised care for all residents
- Mentor and coach Registered and Enrolled Nurses, along with the broader clinical/care team, to help them reach their full potential
- Promote resident well-being and safety by ensuring collaborative care practices and the highest standards of service delivery
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
- Role model best practices in documentation, communication, and record management, ensuring residents’ needs, choices, and preferences are clearly understood and respected
This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our charming Bicton facility!
