Role Summary
The Gardener role provides quality gardening services to the Bethania Gardens facility and its stunning surrounding grounds. You'll be responsible for typical duties such as maintaining garden beds, lawn mowing, reticulation maintenance, pruning, window cleaning and more. In providing these services to the facility, you will play a role in bettering the lives of our residents through contributing towards the creation of a stunning, homely environment for them.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Planting and maintaining garden beds and pot plants. Fertilising and aerating lawns. Trimming and pruning trees.
- Maintenance and cleaning for the windows, entrances/exits and car park.
- Contributing towards a customer service experience for the residents.
This role is located at our stunning Bethania Gardens facility in Bethania. The role will be hired on a permanent part-time basis and works from 0800 - 1600. Tools and an on-site vehicle are provided as part of the role.
Skills, Attributes and Experience
We are hoping to find someone who has significant gardening experience and is a natural lover of the outdoors. Most important will be your preparedness to go above and beyond to best assist the facility and your ability to impress the residents with your end product and customer service throughout. Ideally the successful candidate will possess a Certificate in Horticulture or a similar qualification, but this is not essential.
Key selection criteria includes:
- Possess or willing to obtain an NDIS clearance.
- Possess rights to work in Australia.
- Possess a valid drivers licence.
