Our experience in service delivery is reflected through more than 50 years of maintaining the highest of standards for our residents.

Role Summary

The role of our Support Workers is to provide meaningful support to the residents in our Midland Nursing Home facility. Our staff are tasked with creating a home-like environment for everyone at the facility, whilst undertaking duties such as assistance with daily living tasks or personal care needs, medication administration or the preparation and serving of meals. Our Support Workers work closely with our Registered Nurses, who will provide guidance and supervision to you throughout your day.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensuring that care service delivery is based on the goals, needs and preferences of residents
  • Contribute to the creation of a warm home-like environment for residents
  • Maintain a safe and comfortable working and living environment
  • Participate in feedback, reporting and a continuous improvement model for the facility

This role is being hired on a permanent part-time basis and is located out of our charming Midland Nursing Home facility.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

Our ideal candidates will have previous experience working within residential aged care facilities. We are looking for naturally caring, empathetic people who take joy from playing a crucial role in the care and assistance of their clients. Our ideal candidates are also committed team players who are passionate about enhancing the lives and independence of the residents they work with. They also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

In addition to the above, the below is also required:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Work rights in Australia 
  • A relevant certificate/qualification is highly desirable, but not essential
