Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate Community Services Coordinator to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that meet the needs of our clients. In this role, you will engage regularly with clients, their families, and other stakeholders, building meaningful and lasting relationships. You will oversee staffing levels, manage the performance of support workers, and ensure services are delivered effectively within budget. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work closely with clients to ensure their funds and services are used effectively and meet their needs
  • Ensure support plans are followed and maintain high-quality progress notes
  • Manage, support, and develop a team of support workers
  • Ensure services comply with relevant standards and regulations, and manage risks effectively

 

This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis and is located out of our central office in Belmont! 

Skills, Attributes and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality, person-centered services, ideally within community programs. Experience managing participants with complex mental health needs or challenging behaviours is highly desirable. You will have a solid understanding of the NDIS funding model and reporting requirements, using this knowledge to problem-solve and work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve complaints. We are seeking proactive self-starters who can lead performance appraisals, identify opportunities for growth, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Key Requirements:

 

  • Relevant qualifications, certifications, or significant experience within the NDIS framework is highly desirable 
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children Check
  • Obtain a valid driver’s licence with access to a reliable vehicle
