Role Summary

We are searching for an experienced and passionate trainer who is also a Registered Nurse with a Bachelors/Masters in Nursing, to deliver face-to-face training and assessments. Our ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who is comfortable in dealing with people from all walks of life. They will take pride in passing on knowledge and providing people with the tools required to succeed in their chosen field. Our ideal candidate will be highly organised and able to juggle competing priorities and manage their time effectively. They will also be confident using the MS office suite of products, as well as other learning systems.

You will be required to occasionally deliver training in Bunbury, with reimbursement provided for the travel and accommodation. This training occurs approximately every four weeks. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Delivering and assessment of Clinical Training, including marking assessments.
  • Participating in the review of development of training course materials.
  • Maintaining vocational competency and currency.
  • Contributing to ongoing continuous improvement processes such as validation and industry engagement.
  • Actively assisting with organisational adherence with RTO standards 2015.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Bachelors/Masters in Nursing
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Previous experience in course facilitation
  • Computer literacy (MS Office suite)
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • In-depth understanding of ASQA regulatoy guidelines and standards
