Role Summary

The Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing and monitoring the standards, regulations and requirements that AICE is required to follow in order to be compliant as a Registered Training Organisation. The role plays key part in developing and reviewing the policies and procedures around compliance requirements, and in communicating changes to standards or requirements to the organisation and other AICE team members. Our Compliance officer is also responsible for scheduling and completing assessment activities on behalf of the organisation.

This role is based at AICE’s premises in the Perth CBD, which is easily accessible via public transport. This role is being hired on a permanent full-time basis. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Assisting with the ongoing development and improvement of a quality and compliance framework for AICE.
  • Submitting applications for changes of scope, changes of details or renewals to the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
  • Developing, reviewing and maintaining documents such as student enrolment forms, assessment validations and course reviews.
  • Producing reporting and arranging follow-up meetings to review and analyse assessment/audit findings.

Skills, Attributes and Experience

  • Previous or current experience working within a comparable role, or within the VET/Training industry is highly desirable. 
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office software applications. 
  • Strong communication and listening skills, including the ability to articulately translate complex language into simple language.
  • Great time management and organisation skills, including the ability to accurately and effectively prioritise.
  • The willingness to grow, learn and develop within the role.
